About Bassculture
Bassculture is an Amsterdam organisation that makes radio and organises party's. In both diciplines Bassculture tries to create crossovers between various music styles.
Bassculture aimes at internationall underground musicstyles where the bass plays a main role like; reggae, dubstep, beats,funk, dub, soul, jazz ,jungle, hiphop and steppers. Bassculture also tries to make a bridge between music and other cultural activities.
Bassculture programms a mix of international DJ's and performers. In this way it creates a platform for possible new developments and meltdowns. Bassculture is an epicenter for anyone who searches for lava and refreshments in Bass & Culture.
Mission
Bassculture is striving for cultural diversity to inspire people. It tries to change the public opinion about music styles and think outside of the box. Bassculture strives for the creation of new music styles and genres with the bass as the most important element.
Bassculture achieves its goal by introducing the audience to new talent and new music styles. It offers a stage to renowned artists as well as upcoming talents. It is working with cross-over styles trying to bring a whole new experience for artists and audience.

He spent his first pocket money to buy vinyl. He put the music on tapes when the first walkman came out. Reggae soundsystems gave him a proper introduction to the fundaments of rootsreggae. Today you can find digital roots, dub steppa’s and miscellaneous in his selection. Him personally?... around good subs at soundsystems, playing at events and weekly on Bassculture radio.
